Contract Chemical Polishing of Internal Surfaces

We chemically polish the internal surfaces of customer-supplied material(toll polishing). From ultra-fine capillary bores through to bellows interiors—long considered difficult to treat—our independently developed equipment delivers a uniform finish. If your geometry or dimensions fall outside what electropolishing can address, we would be glad to discuss them.

Components we can process

We focus on components where internal roughness, cleanliness and corrosion resistance are critical.

Capillary & small-bore tubing

Bellows

Precision & complex-geometry parts

Threaded parts & medical needles

Materials: primarily stainless steel (SUS). Titanium and copper are handled case by case—please enquire. For geometries or materials not listed above, send us a drawing and we will confirm whether we can process it.

Our strength

Chemical polishing of bellows interiors

The convoluted interior of a bellows makes it difficult to bring the chemistry into uniform contact, and internal chemical polishing has long been regarded as impractical on this geometry. We have established a dedicated cleaning and polishing process for it, finishing bellows interiors smooth and clean, with a processing track record on shapes long considered difficult. To discuss feasibility, please contact us with a drawing attached.

Internal surface quality achieved

Chemical polishing leaves the internal surface in the following condition.

Smooth mirror finish

Burr-free

Low adsorption

High corrosion resistance

Improved Cr/Fe ratio

How to place an order

STEP 01

Enquiry

Send us your drawing, specification and requirements. We will confirm whether we can process it.

STEP 02

Quotation & terms

We quote according to quantity and specification. An NDA can be put in place where required.

STEP 03

Prototype & evaluation

Where needed, we run a prototype so you can evaluate the internal surface quality.

STEP 04

Production & delivery

Once the specification is fixed, we move to volume production. Chemical polishing is well suited to stable, large-lot manufacturing.

Start with a feasibility question

Questions as simple as “can this geometry and dimension be polished?” are welcome. Please attach a drawing when you contact us.
